Grief & Loss
Grief and loss refer to the emotional response to losing someone or something significant in one's life. This could include the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, or any major life change that results in a sense of bereavement. Grief is a natural and universal reaction, characterized by a range of emotions such as sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, and even relief.

The grieving process typically involves stages, although not everyone experiences them in the same way or order. These stages can include denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Grief is a deeply personal experience, and it can affect individuals in various ways, impacting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

While grief can be a challenging and painful experience, it's also a necessary part of healing and moving forward. It's important for individuals experiencing grief to allow themselves to feel their emotions, seek support from friends, family, or professionals if needed, and take care of themselves physically and emotionally as they navigate the grieving process.
Relational trauma refers to traumatic experiences that occur within the context of interpersonal relationships, often involving betrayal, abuse, neglect, or other forms of harm inflicted by someone with whom the individual has a close relationship. Unlike other forms of trauma, relational trauma specifically involves the violation of trust and safety within relationships.
